StarDrift requires nothing from you personally. There is no login, no email address, and no profile — just a probe and an asteroid field. This page explains what very little data touches your experience.
Your best distance record is saved in your browser's localStorage under the key "sd_best". This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server. It exists purely so your record is waiting for you next time you visit.
We do not collect your name, email, location, device identifiers, gameplay patterns, or any information that could identify you personally. We have no analytics platform running on this game.
Our web host automatically generates brief technical logs when pages are requested — standard information like approximate request timing and browser type, used solely to keep the site running and catch server errors. These logs are not tied to any personal identity.
The page loads two typefaces from Google Fonts. This involves a standard browser request to Google's servers. Google's own privacy policy applies to that request; we have no influence over or access to what Google logs on their side.
We do not share, sell, or transmit information to advertisers, data brokers, or any third party. There is no advertising on StarDrift and no tracking infrastructure.
To delete your saved best score, clear this site's data from your browser's storage settings. There is nothing on our servers to delete — we never received a copy.
The site is served over HTTPS. Because almost no data leaves your browser at all, the exposure surface is minimal — though no web service can offer unconditional guarantees.
If we add features that meaningfully change our data practices, we will update this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
